Ecotec pro 28 - F28

Got an ecotec pro 28 to look at tomorrow that's showing F28 and keeps cutting out according to cust

Any suggestions ?

Check you got gas. Check combustion etc. Check electrodes/earthing.
No result with that the prob need check with manufacturer to help pin it down.

be interested to know the answer dsmart f28 is failure to start f29 is failure during operation I get a lot of f28 from people who don't put money on the card

Well I never got time to investigate as I shut it off as the heat ex was leaking.

the usual fix is carry a piece of cardboard ignore the smell yes it is what you think it is chuck the cardboard on the floor so you can kneel on something clean and press the big shiny red button on the gas meter to make it go while some female golem shouts no one effing told me to press the button
ps don't kneel too near the pit bulls food it upsets them

cust complaining no heating and hw intermittent, kept getting f28 and f29

I had an f28 yesterday called technical to confirm they said replace pump as boiler wont fire on max as water not being pumped away so its working in safe mode when chimney mode activated Replaced the pump today, everything seems to be working fine... till now.

You replaced the pump for an f28/9, no wonder it didn't work.......lol

d044 will tell you the condition of the flame signal strong chance its the gas valve not opening properly
