Baxi gold combi 28 KW, I fitted it 4 years ago , (I have done the previous 3) just gone to service it this morning. Gas off, lecki off, burner/fan out, everything disconnected with care. Trap bowl cleaned. All put back, and I get E1- 33 (interrupted gas supply) reset and keeps going to E1-33.
Any ideas guys apart from a big hammer.

Hold the reset button in for a good 10 seconds then release may rectify fault those PCB's suffer with static also make sure your leads are fully home from PCB to spark gen

Is the generator making a clicking noise? Like it's trying to generate a spark?

Are the ignition electrodes bent and too close together? Should be the thickness of a pound coin apart.

just going back to this now, Rob will try resetting for longer. Moogwai no clicking noise but there was 120 v ish up to it for a second or two Arran, slightly too wide gap if anything, with all that's gone on this morning , if I had bent them back they would have broken.

Gap should be thickness of a pound coin. Also it a potterton . And replace electrodes

Just an update on this one, I never sorted it , the customer ended up calling out baxi / heat team.
The engineer changed the gas valve , apparently he told the customer it had dropped in bits because it had too much gas pressure going through it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It goes without saying the meter regulator was nt touched

you have fitted the silicone dispensation tube back onto the wrong port,i would question it being the gas valve

No, I was very carefull where it went.
he has recently been on holiday and just happened to mention he could nt get HW when he came back, then for some reason he got it working.
