As above has anyone got any experience? I've fitted the Heatrae Sadia Amptech before but I'm looking at pricing some flats and the spec is Heatrae Sadia Electromax for heating/hot water?

Any good?

Problems?

Horror stories?

cheers Chris

very big heavy units, work ok but are a very tight fit in most cupboards, if i had a choice id fit amptech and a seperate direct unvented cylinder.

builder i did them for got them for around a grand which was very cheap.

Agree with that and tried to convince them otherwise but they like the idea of one complete unit. Have you fitted many?

Fitted 8 a few years ago, I've since fitted the amptec with cylindes and it's a lot better

Was just about to start a post with same title!

Just out of interest what qualifications should we hold to install and carry out maintainence on electric boilers? I've got a call out on one today but he said the tundish is running on the unvented cylinder. Just didn't know regarding the boiler side?

It wasn't even an electric boiler after all that... Combination valve on an unvented cylinder. Typical no-it-all customers!
