Hi, I am looking for some advice please.
i have a holiday lodge that has an electric water heater to heat water that is then pumped around the central heating system that consists of 7 radiators. I need to get it totally replumbed as I have removed all the pipe work due to it all being surface mounted. So I have to put some money into it. I have recently seen the Fischer electric radiators and I am wondering if they would be more efficient than the existing system.
Is it more economical to use electricity to heat water that is then pumped round a building with the subsequent losses of heat or is it more economical to use the electricity to heat the rooms directly?
would love to hear opinions or better still experiences.
thanks
al
