The high & low heat indicator lights not were working & no hot water was coming. I changed the micro-switch with no effect. Now both lights come on & still no hot water! Could it be simply the circuit board or is there some other failure you guys know of?

The OP has already delved into the innards of his leccy shower and not killed himself so I imagine he might own a multimeter.
However. That said, why would anyone change a microswitch without testing it with a meter first?

My brain hurts!!!!!

Didnt have meter with me but I did have a micro-switch. So I did a bit of a heuristic trial. Cant be sure I want to test the circuit board & replace or repair it but mother-in-law doesnt want to spend any real money.

The trouble is by faffing about without the correct test equipment and procedure your wasting your precious time and Ma in Law still has a cold shower.
She'll probably end up buying a new unit at some stage, get a cheapo shower from one of the diy sheds.
