Hi

Apologies if this has bee asked before.

Whats the deal with replacing an electric shower nowadays (just one out, one in), is it just a case of plumbing it in, reconnecting the wires then having it checked by an electrician? (due to Part P)

Thanks

You can do a swap provided it is a straight swap same kw without part p . it needs its own isolation both electrical and on the inlet for most guarantees to be ok. The mi will usually tell you what size breaker you can have as if you don't know then you are simply trusting the old shower was put in with the right size in the first place , which sometimes it is'nt.
