Put a towel rad in with electric element, put 90 percent full, water and inhibitor, width 300x1600mm height chrome towel radiator,
400w element! All installed and towel rad stays warm at bottom but not at top, there is definetly water in it,
my guess is an air lock and it needs taking off and turning upside down and that will remove air lock, what are your opinion?
managed to get it luke warm at middle but nothing more

Read the instructions - I never use water and inhibitor.
These units to my mind need high performance fluid
such as R100 or a Fernox solar fluid which is not cheap
(except I get it FOC)

I must admit when I first got one for my holiday lets I thought
as you have done - correct me if I am wrong CHKing
