Hi,

I have an electric towel rail that does not heat up anymore. It has power still, as the temperature indicator is continuously flashing green. Turning up the temperature dial does not make any difference. The controls are located at the bottom of the towel rail in a small white control panel. Does this need replacing?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Michael.

Is there a manufacturers name on it anywhere?

If so try googling for the instructions & see what the fault finding says in the instructions.

Unfortunately there is not a manufacturers name on the towel rail. I did note down the model = TH605A2P 9016 and the Code = MCT7778. It has a rating of 2000W. That is it. I did google the model but could find no details and have tried for about an hour to get any useful information - but nothing.

Was it installed whilst you were there or before?

Would know where it came from?

Perhaps a picture would help, as with most of these things there are many available on the market & all work in differing ways so to narrow it down would help to rectify the problem.

Unfortunately my in laws were due to arrive today so I had to buy a new radiator that had the thermostat panel with it so that i could get some heat into the bathroom. I could not buy the thermostat panel on its own. Thank you for your help but I had to resort to this solution.
