My girlfriend and myself are looking at a property which has no heating in which isn't too much of a problem, but as with most villages around me there is no mains gas so that limits our choices.
We can't have oil as there is no where to put a tank so that's ruled out (which would of been my choice)
So it's electric heating or LPG.
The problem with LPG is siting the gas bottles (no where for a bulk storage tank) as I can put them in the back garden but someone will have to be in every time we have a delivery or I can put them outside the front door but they are a bit ugly. The plus side I can have a gas cooker!
Or electric I've only ever fitted the slimline boilers but I've heard they are expensive to run. Or air heat source pumps but they are pricey!
