I need to provide water heating for a shower and basin in a small annex which has no gas supply. Would an under sink heater do a good enough job for a shower and basin, or is it better to go for an electric shower and separate heater for the basin? It has also been suggested that I might consider a 50 or 60 litre direct un-vented cylinder. Grateful for any views or advice.

If you have the flow/pressure and space then I would recommend an unvented cylinder but if the space is tight and your not using a lot of hot water then an electric shower and either an under or over sink water heater will be fine.
