had a call back last week on a new direct cylinder and emersion heater 27" 18" thermostat wasnt getting hot initially but did eventually it nows cuts out after about 2 minutes turned stat down to 60 degrees and still same problem ive got a new thermostat to fit but wondering if it could be anything else apparentley they are extremley sensitive cheers
 
cheers dai changed it today seems to have cured it cheers mate, im in caerphilly dai sounds like your on my side of the bridge as well.
 
yes it was on close inspection when i took the stat out it was scuffed and a bit dirty i bought it brand new of B.E.S i phoned their technical and they all but blamed the stat
