EPH COMBI PACK 4 to ida

Hi there

Advice needed having a eph combi pack 4 fitted to my ideal vogue c40 gen 2 boiler 2017 model the wiring change on post 2019 boilers. Do I need a separate power supply for the reciever or can this be powered from the boiler. It will be connected via open therm.

Hi Chris thanks, I should have mentioned its going to be open therm can I still use the boiler to supply this. I was originally going to use an ideal halo but I neeed the smart interface kit due to when the boiler was built to get I to work 🤦‍♀️

Yes take all wiring from the ideal - although opening up current ideal boilers means disturbing the combustion circuit, which should be checked for safety afterwards. LNE and OT can all be ran from boiler.
