Evidance portfolio (gas)

Hi all,

I have a informal meeting with a Gas Training company in Hull.

this is for the NVQ level 2 Plumbing & Domestic gas.

If i choose this training center i will undertake the moduals for
Fires, Cooker, Boilers etc..

My question is what sort of stuff needs to go into your evidance portfolio for your ACS?

welcome to the forum Jay , it varies from college to college youd be better going back to them and seeing what they want

Starting my ACS assessment next Monday. I had to produce various types of jobs like fault finding, services, CP12, installs, and mainly do some work on open flued appliances . You can show that you wasn't doing same jobs in your portfolio as this won't give you much experience.

As Bod said, best to go to your college and speak to them.

PS: hope I pass my one

in order to sit all your appliances you need to have experience with them all in your portfolio, i only filled my portfolio with boiler installs and sat my CCN1 and CEN1, but went back at a later date to do my cookers and fires with no previous experience
