Evohome system but rad always on roasting hot!

Hi, we have the evo home heating system. Replaced batteries in TRV. The kitchen radiator is roasting hot always….trv doesn’t seem to be regulating temp.
Unbound and rebound to no avail.
What’s wrong?

Tried recalibrating and it doesn’t go into cycle mode though

How do I do this?

At the bottom of the TRV head should be the retaining screw, undo this and this should reveal the pin. Try gently pushing it down with some pliers.

Changed the head to the one in the utility….it syncs and cycles and works ok.
New one needs for the kitchen??
