Hi, some advice please.
The expansion in the loft is constantly overflowing, I've replaced the ballcock and valve but still no good.
I bail out the water back down to a few inches from the bottom, 24 hours later the tank is full and overflowing again.

any advise would be much appreciated.
thanks, Pete.

any recent works eg new shower taps etc?

Hi Shaun, we have recently had fitted a new bath, but this problem has been going on for over a year and is gradually getting worse.

is it on the big tank (for your hot water) or is it on the little tank (for heating)

Why did you remove nearly all the water from the tank, dose the ball valve shut off

Small tank in the loft, pretty sure it's the expansion tank.
Pete.

Yes, the valve shuts off, just wanted to see how fast it refilled.
Pete.

Could have a problem with your hot water cylinder is the top of the expansion tank lower than the water level in the big tank ?

Is the heating working as normal. Meaning which ever way you want to turn on or off it works as normal...?
And as for the water tank" overflowing " . This is constantly occurring??
