Expansion vessel change vaillant ecotech 824

Hey all,

got to change expansion vessel on above boiler monday is there any tips any tips or anything i need to be careful of/watch out for?

i got a new prv too

i noticed the foam sound insulation is falling to pieces in there too, any ideas why?

Is the burner door seal ok.

Actually i did buy one because some mentioned it to me. I didnt check it when i checked vessel so i am taking one just in case

That's the burner door seal needs replacing if the foam is falling to pieces. Had something similar a few months back and called there tech department to confirm and they said new seal.

tbh the burner seal should be changed every 2 to 3 years anyway so just take one a swap it over

cover the drop down flap with plastic to protect the board as they have a habit of holding the water till over the board
