Expansion Vessel connection size

Can anyone tell me if it matters that I connect an 18 litre expansion vessel with 15mm pipe onto 28mm (total water volume 132litres)?

its only 15mm connection to x/vessel anyway isnt it?

Think 18 ltr has 3/4" conection
I would tee off 28mm to 22mm then connect in 22mm,if connection 1/2",would reduce down after teeing off in 22mm

thanks, for replys! I think the vessel has 1/2" connection, so guess it will be fine on 15mm connection.
