Hi, i am new to this forum and am seeking advice, i am a qualified chippie and i am now looking at getting qualified in plumbing and eventually heating, ive been in the builing trade 12 years im 28 now and need a new challenge and from day 1 ive always fancied plumbing,i have a little experience already i can fit a bathroom suite start to finish aswell as sinks etc and kitchens.

what would the best route for me be, im not doing any fast trck course for 5 grand thats for certain!!

You must know a plumber or two who you could help out now and again on the sort of job you,ve just described if you have been in the construction trade as long as you have ?

The way into the trade has always been through being a plumbers mate, if you have had no formal apprenticeship training, I know of a few who did it this way, it is without doubt the 2nd best way, after an apprenticeship.
