Hi
I'm trying to replace an old Xpelair 100mm fan that's fitted to a skylight in my bathroom (the roof above is flat). The existing fan has a somthing like a 100mm length duct to which a mushroom shaped cap is fitted on the outside. You can see a picture of the duct with the cap removed here: Image - TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting
When i search for an extractor fan suitable for windows, i've come across a couple - but both state they can only be used for glass upto 6 mm thick. The skylight has 10mm wire glass fitted.
Can anyone recommend a fan that would do the job? Also, if i need to replace the existing duct, is it putty i use to fill in the gap on the outside?
thanks
