Is it possible to incorporate both the vent pipe and feed pipe to a one piped central heating system. Bascially, the engineer removed the feed pipe and connected the vent pipe to the new F&E Cistern.

If not, what could be the potential outcome?

No it needs a vent pipe.

hes combined the cold feed and vent and used 1 pipe and put it before the pump
