F1 Problem on an Ideal logic 24 combi

Hi

My ideal boiler (24) was fitted as a used swap (from a 35) a few weeks ago and the engineer is now ignoring me.

It shows F1 and when I top it up (to 1 bar) it works fine for a couple of hours.

It then spits water outside to release the excess pressure I guess, then it shows F1 and I refill to 1 bar

There are no other leaks.

I would appreciate feedback please.

if its new get ideal out also if its spirting out side thats not good dont put any more water in eg refill

Yes it is a used one

supposed to have been a "real bargain" lol

You need to get a gas safe engineer out to look at it.
(Probably best not to use the person who fitted it)

Yes I was but the original was overkill for the amount of rad's here anyway.

You must not fit that yourself and need to get an engineer in to replace.
