F29 on vaillant

Got a call from a customer saying they have F29 on a vaillant , transco have been digging up the road in the last few weeks , has the 831 got a filter on the gas inlet ..if it is blocked , can I charge them

I think the only filter on the gas train is built into the gas valve inlet.
The customer could try billing them but only after you have billed the customer.
We used to get this situation with blue plastic debris from water mains replacements blocking combi inlets. We billed the customer and they billed the water company.

Just make sure anything you find in fillter leave for customer !

Went to the job tonight to repair the boiler , f29 .. Looked at Meter , the ECV handle was 3/4 shut .. The husbands brief case was on top off it ,,, and transco working down the road ,

I blamed transco before I even got to the job ,, husband said SORRY I have no money on me .. Wife not home till later , it was 9.15pm.. I said I come back another day ,, I'm thinking of getting a credit card machine , has any one got one ,,

Had similar job but was a na jacuzy not working took me 3h to find Sainsburys shopping bags been thrown in the cupbord where the iso switch was and switched main feed to spur off

I had a customer who said his electric shower sometimes stops and starts , his jacket coat hanger had wrapped around the pull cord isolator in the cupboard ..also had kids turn off boilers before

I love them attend a boiler breakdown to find out out they have turned off the isolator thinking its a light switch?

Ive got one through the FSB but Im thinking of binning it in favour of a thing called Tradetill. Do a google search.
