I'm looking for some advice please
My worcester boiler (greenstar 24i junior) was constantly losing pressure, dropping down to zero now and again. I called a local engineer who quoted £190+vat to supply/fit a new expansion vessel and pressure relief valve. The engineer who came to do the work, only replaced the expansion vessel, which didn't solve the falling pressure problem.
I think I may have found the problem myself, a leaking radiator upstairs.
Is it fair for me to pay for a new expansion vessel, or is it difficult to diagnose the cause of the problem? And whats the approx cost to supply/fit a new expansion vessel?
