Hello!

I wonder if anyone can help me?
Ive got a problem with my central heating. I have a Worcester 30Si combi boiler with a Salus wireless thermostat. All has been working fine until today. The hot water is working perfectly but the radiators just won't warm up. The thermostat batteries have been changed so I know they're all working fine, but when I when I went to stare blindly at the boiler as if I might actually know what to do about it, I noticed what I believe to be the radiator light flashing rapidly.

I've not tried pressing any buttons yet because I don't want to make anything worse or do something daft.

I suspect I could probably do with having a plumber look at it but I live in a rented house and as is typical something always goes wrong on the weekend when I can't get hold of the letting agents property management team!

Hi morebyluck it sounds like your receiver has lost it's RF connection with the room stat, have a look through the instructions and re sync

personally found salus stats rubbish,do they have a over ride on the receiver like Honeywell?

No, no overide just on and off on the receiver but have not had a faulty one yet. Depending on the model there is also no syncing as frequency is set by dip switches.
Op is the salus the model with the receiver slotted in to the front of the boiler casing or is there a wire from the boiler to a wall mounted receiver? if its in the boiler casing then there should be a sync function to pair the thermostats frequency to that of the receiver.

Override button no use on Siemens stats as it's usually the relay that's kafunked

If it's flashing slowly its an ignition problem so you'll need a GSR engineer.

Couple of things it normally is with those models, your guy should know.
