Hello, Im a new member to the forum, I am a Gas Safe registered business. Ive been called out to an Ariston Microgenus 24HE Combi, it displays an A97 fault code on both hot water or heating demand. The code in the book just says "electronic monitoring" Not much help. I did have the boiler fired up briefly as the customer said it would only stay lit for 2 - 3 mins a time. As it was fired up I removed the cover and the boiler instantly went out and flashed A97. My first thought is the APS, and so I have ordered one that will be here Friday morning. Im thrown a bit though as every time I leave a breakdown call Im fairly certain I will have the issue resolved with the part I fit. This one however is filling me with a bit of doubt. Does anyone have any experience with Ariston boilers? I myself have never come across one of a customers. My combi Knowledge really lies with Baxi, Worcester and Ideal. Im a bit out of my comfort zone with this Ariston. Thanks. Matt.

This plumbing forum will not provide advice to anybody with regards to boiler repairs or any other form of gas plumbing without you first providing us with your Gas Safe Registration number in a thread - for very obvious reasons. If you're not qualified to touch gas, you should stay well clear of trying to!

get your post count up provide us with your details and we will sort you access out to the gsr forum.
