Hello, I have a dishwasher that seems to be working okay, but the compartment inside the machine at the bottom where the soap is supposed to go is always full of water, is this a problem with the pump or outlet hose?

Compartment at bottom is were salt should go not soap I think and yes it is normal to be full of water all the time
