None of this partnership was ever written in ink, just a gentlemans/friends/mutual understanding agreement. We'll be back talking soon enough but what's the best way to make this partnership official/legal/binding or whatever?

What's the reasoning for the split?

Before entering any partnership, get all the legalities sorted prior to forming a partnership.
Doubt you can do a lot after the split - verbal agreements ( apparently binding ) differ after the fact between 2 or more parties

Long story short; he was Soded and acting like a bellend and he hasn't said a word about it since. Thanks fella and yeah, we're sorting out a legit and legal partnership now to avoid arguements. Still might smack him though...

When the pressures on and eithier of you are not putting in 100% then tempers can rise and things are said that cant be taken back if its a 50 - 50 partnership then the work load should be equal ? It maybe better to each have seperate companies and work together when needed , I have a nephew who's a decent plumber when he puts his mind to it , but hes just a liability and just cant be helped lost count of the chances i gave him to get his act together had to cut him loose in the end hes worked for just about every outfit locally and is now unemployable because of his unreliable behaviour and bad habits liquid and substance 33 years old not a pot to pi-- in he should have out grown this behaviour but some people just cant be helped , Keefy violence is not the best way to go hurt him in the wallet mate if your doing all the work and hes dicking around then keep the lions share mate. Regards Kop

Cheers fella, thanks!

Was only kidding about the 'might smack him' bit but admit it's often hard to distinguish between joking and seriousness when reading text on a screen. We didn't burn him!

The slight fallout made him appreciate my pride, commitment and professionalism (blows own trumpet) in what I do as a few of the lads, friends of both of us by the way, put him in his place by telling him he was in the wrong. All respect to him though for holding his hands up and admitting to his error.

Witnessed a major fallout tonight between two friends; more like work associates of mine really - this evening which was tough to see as they/we all kind of network and recommend eachother to keep it local. They'll be hugging soon enough and so will any of you lot when it's your turn. Life's too short!
