Ferolli boiler problem

My elderly neighbor has had a ferolli boiler fitted by npower and she is getting serious knocking bouncing in the hot water pipe work, when I turn the cold to the boiler off it stops, or if I turn a hot tap on. This seems to originate from the boiler.
She has had three people come to have a look all give different answers but no one has fixed the problem!

Please can someone give me advice!

its not a boiler fault, probable jumpers in taps, try all outlets.

You coulsd suggest a "Shock arrester". Fitted on the cold water mains pipework it can eliminate most occurences of water hammer!
