ferroli f24b no hot water ish

hi all:waving: went too the above boiler today and the hot water would run for about a minute and then trip off for about 20 seconds and then fire up again! the central heating works fine any ideas???? thanks

was the boiler kettling? did you test the stats with a multimeter?

no mate was'nt kettling and replaced the dhw stat

but replaced the over heat stat cos its the same so geting another 1 tomorrow

Could be a blocked hw hex see if the return pipe gets hot all of a sudden on hw mode, if it does stick to boiler into htg mode and remove the power supply to diverter valve locking it in htg mode. Now run the tap so you get full burn and see if it backs up and shuts down on over heat now if not prob block hw hex. Can try to remove and clean prob best just to replace.
