Ferroli HE 31C Pressure problem

Hi, I have a Ferroli HE 31C boiler and it keeps returning the error code F37 (which according to the manual, is for low water pressure) after switch on even though I had already topped up the pressure from 1.4bars, .1 bar at a time all the way until 2.5bars now.

Furthermore, I had tried to reset the system using the reset button, but only to return weird characters such as
"(upsidedown f)E", "Hi", "rE".

Is there an issue with the boiler internally, and what would be the recommended course of action?

nothing except get a gas engineer to sort it for you.
