When I try to put the central heating on it comes on and the display shows it heating up rapidly and then it turns off with an error message "D2".

Im led to believe it is something to do with the valves and I had occasion to mess with all the valves yesterday, previously it was working fine. The pressure is also high at 2.5 bar.

I've taken a photo of the valves as they are now and have tried to upload on here. Excuse me If this doesn't work it's my first attempt.

All advice gratefully received.

many Thanks,

Andy

Turn blue and red ones on outside though 90 degrees. U turned off flow and return!
Excellent, thank you, all sorted. It's my first house and I only moved in last week so I'm pretty useless at anything like this at the moment. It's a sure fire way to learn quickly though.

Thanks again

Get boiler serviced by a gas safe engineer every year also, but and install. Carbon monoxide derector. If u have gas fire get that done as well . Good luck and congrats on moving

Agreed, regular servicing is a must, for your own safety if nothing else!

You could'nt do any worse than go to Gas Safe Register | Ensure your gas engineer is registered. or post a thread in the 'I'm looking for a plumber / gas engineer' section of these forums remembering to include your location.
