Hi All

I have a problem with my Optimax HE 38 C boiler. Basically the hot water temperature starts off hot then quite quickly becomes tepid at other times the water is very hot (scalding). Have tried switching between ECO and comfort settings but makes no real difference.

Seems very erratic. Central Heating temperature is fine?

My question is does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this?

Like a lot of other people we had a lot of problems with our boiler when first installed in 2008 - had Ferroli out many times - one of which was poor hot water - the engineer repaired/replaced some parts at the time but has been ok since then.

We have quite acidic water which probably does not help.

Does anyone have any thoughts on what may be causing the erratic hot water temperature but not central heating?

Thanks in advance for any help

Craig
