Be prepared......to be treated like a naughty schoolboy.....and 500 lines of" I must remember to spray the nipple with PDF....oh and the test point aswell".

Having LDF in the van is a good start, someone failed without getting their tools out on this!

Have a TCB and water gauge as a back up if you have a digital manometer as well as a certification of calibration for digi manometer and FGA
 
got my first one tomorrow bit nervous not sure what to expect, what does it usually entail?

After the advice you've been given here tomorrow will be a stroll in the park! On a serious note it will be fine. They aren't there to catch you out. Just show them that you work safely and all will be fine. Hope you have arranged some jobs for them to see? Make them tea when they get to you in the morning and keep them chatting!
 
thanks guys hopefully all will go well, its just not knowing what to expect.
Will be fine pal, don't bluff ask any questions you need to, you can have your slide ventilation and gas rates charts with you or any books, no one can remember everything.....good luck....
 
just an update. all went very well, had to do a drop test, standing and working pressure, gas rate, and fga. it was followed with a few questions. took me of probation, and wont see him for 2 years. well chuffed.

well done mate! its never a barrel of fun having to prove to an inspector that you can do your job. ive had to do it loads of times in the past and its never comfortable and if it was easy everyone would be doin our job. hang on a minute everyone is !
