Hi, I have a Worcester Green star Junior, a sealed system, and would like to fit an isolating valve to the incoming water supply pipe to this boiler so I can quickly shut off the supplies to bathroom in our bungalow but if need be leave the heating running. There's a convenient location a couple of feet from the boiler. With our pipe run this will leave cold water to the kitchen tap (which will be controlled by the main stopcock) but allow isolation of the hot water and bathroom cold supplies.
My question is if I break into this pipe will I need to bleed any part of the boiler or central heating afterwards and/or I was looking at one of these Aladdin Easy Fit Isolators and would welcome any advice or thoughts on this project.
Many thanks
