Picked up this cooke & lewis chambley 05341757 tap hoping to use on bath. Is there any reason why I shouldn't install on bath? It's suitable for both high & low pressure systems. I should add that we have a combi boiler and usually have to run hot tap at a low flow rate to get water hot enough so flow rate not important. The threaded pipe that will join to the fixed piping under the bath is slightly narrower in diameter. Any advice on whether this is possible will be appreciated. Thanks J

it will work after a fashion, the threaded bit will be smaller because it is 1/2" not 3/4". you will need to change the pipework under the bath to suit.

Is there a way to convert the 3/4 inch female thread on the fixed pipe to 1/2 inch to allow me to connect the 1/2 threaded pipe? This would be preferable to changing the pipework. Thanks J
