Fixings Storage and quality toolbox??????

I am looking into getting a good quality tool box that can hold quite a few tools as the one i have at present is falling apart after only a year! One latch has fallen off and one pin off the back hinges is slowly slipping out too. It is a stanley toolbox i bought from screw fix and thought would be quite sturdy, obviosuly not. Also I am looking into something that can hold plumber fittings, as the usual compartment cases you find about are simply too small for fittings and maybe hold 1 or 2.lol, so no good. I only have a Citroen Berlingo so space is limited but any advice etc would be appreciated. Cheers

Look at the CK range of tool storage I have a small bag just for my tools that go into all the jobs. There is no point in having something that has all and sundry in it. For one it is to heavy and ***bersome and you never find what you want.

any ideas about fittings storage? Thats the main concern I have , as at the moment they are all mixed up in one bucket which takes 4ever to sift through what i need.

I use the stanley compartment boxes with the clear covers. one for 15mm solder 22mm solder, 15mm compression, and one for 22mm compression. And one for odds and sods washers olives o'rings decorator caps for trvs. For waist fittings and toilet valves syphons I have bought from wilkinson three high storage with slide out boxes once again clear boxes and labelled.

It is hard though when you have a small van though looking at getting a renault in march 10 😀. Ps and I keep my copper in bags keeps them clean.

I've got an open top tool bag by stanley, I think its great, I can actually see what I'm looking for much, I've also got a fat max toolbox with tools I don't use that often but still need quite handy.
