i came across this today, some class act had connected the 15mm flow, copper pipe using a flexible tap connector to the towel rail, i mentioned it to the punter, as i was only there to stop a toilet leak and he said i think he was a cowboy, i agreed !!!

lol, almost as bad as the job i was doing a few months back. Two Cast Iron Rads not working, Came to the assumtion that the rads werent working due to the long 15mm legs that were feeding them werent good enough in size to supply them and the other 5 rads coming off them. When coming to cap off the 15mm legs to replace with 22 i knocked into the wall and just by luck found 2 fused up 15mm flexi buried in the wall, nice job!

lolol that is the worst plumbing ever, the toilet is a work of art

You don’t half see some weird and wonderful work out there as someone pointed to that polish job on YouTube lol, i was at a job there last week and talk about old pipework - 32 & 40 mm copper piping for waste cast iron bath with one big flange type thing for the waste connection lead for the over flow and aluminium piping that was just the bathroom the kitchen was the same just as well i have been asked back to do the kitchen ;) the poor old buddy mind you has been done with the cowboys that did her heating system don’t know how some ppl can sleep at night but thats another story...
Cheers
Kevin

I have been to a few houses where flexi hoses are used on towel radiator's, i thought it might be common place as i have seen so many. I would never do it though looks ugly. however i remember a time when i said i would never use flexi's on taps? how times change.
