Flexible pipe for bathroom waste?

Hi. Have a query on a bathroom sink waste. I'm not a plumber, a few times over the years I have taken the trap off to clear it. It consists of the trap attached to the waste and a bend going to a bartol pipe that goes in to a trap (I assume) in the floor. It appears not to be in line so it's really awkward to get it all together again, there is pressure on all the joints. I was wondering if I could attach a bit of flexible pipe to the bartol?

Thanks. But if I did decide to go for it could I replace a section of the bartol? That way it would take the pressure off the joints. What would I need?

I’d re-pipe it in rigid maybe original installer didn’t quite get their angles right
