An idiot's question - no instructions left after install. All I want to do is stop hot water flow so that I can replace a tap washer. Do I turn off B and C and is it then safe to run off the water in pipe to the affected tap?

Yeah what he said, turn off at mains. replace washer, offer to fit ballofix for next time.

Maybe turn power off to boiler also,when water turned back on,run through boiler for few secs turn tap off and turn power back on to boiler 🙂
