whats the max flow rate for cold water piping 1/2 inch 3/4 inch and 1 inch pipe????
 
there are many charts on the web. ideal flow rate is 1.5 metres per second. anything higher causes pipe noise and higher friction on pipe creating pipe wear.anything lower and water deposits build up on the pipe wall creating reduced flow.

you could spend a day designing a small domestic system to these requirements adding k factors and all sorts. working it out exactly.dosnt normally happen, unless your employing an engineer to do it for you - it would probably take him half the time!
