Can someone explain, Why flow restriction are necessary for water consumption instead of closing isolation valve a bit for tabs?
Thames water report says that we have to put flow restriction on each tabs for cold and hot water. Why we can not close the isolation valve half way and restric the flow of the water!!!

Well how much flow is being passed half closed Tiara? A restrictor will guarantee no more than the designed allowance! Does that make sense? :)

Partially closing and isolation valve is not an accurate method of water regulation, is noisy and easily reversed by the end user. Using flow restrictors does not cause undue noise and is less easily altered.
