where would you get flue brackets cheapest for this? just buy 100mm standard off ebay? need them by sunday!!

most plumbing merchants will sell a few makes, WB are very expensive, baxi are prob best priced from memory.

also plumbifx sell a few different ones but may not have stock.

The Baxi ones are the best. Easy to fit. They were branded as multifit, but I know Baxi are having a spares branding shake up.

oh don't mate, had to buy Wb in the end, I needed 2 clips, £14 each plus vat at grahams, plumb centre can stuff theirs where sun don't shine!! what a attitude on the phone!!! sickened me that the baxi ones ar only £3 each at plumbix, but none in local store :(

Let us know how you get on with fitting them.

Just go and buy slightly longer bolts makes life a 100x easier than trying to hold them together to get the short ones started

+1 for that, was going to make same comment. I actually like them (with longer screw) ,easier to find a fixing point for them than Baxi's. stupidly expensive though at PC.

Having said that, if you fit Dru fires, you will know their brackets are remarkably similar to Baxi's, but retail at £40 each!!!!

Last time i bought from PC (at least 6 months) they were about £18+VAT. mad really.

92p for a 100mm clip!! That is amazing. Couldn't see p&p charges, though.
There is a school of thought that you must use manufacturers approved supports. Personally, I think such a requirement would be nonsense, but does anyone have any specific info on that?

the wb clips were awful! springy and you really needed 3 hands, not much point starting if you only have 2 like myself...... I can understand why people don't use them now!!

baxi clips they are adjustable bu cutting the threaded bar. fitted a vaillant last wk and the vaillant ones were to long to fit to wall on straight vert flue
