Hi I'm new to the industry Im just finishing my training (got my ccn1 booked in a couple of weeks bricking it). Iv been looking at getting myself kitted out and I can't get my head around the analysers there seems to be loads on the market at all sorts of prices.

I don't want to fork out ridicules money as I'm only going to be starting out doing servicing boilers, fires cookers at weekends and at night so I can't really justify spending a thousand pounds as you can imagine.

I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction ie recommended brands, models or even ones to avoid as I can't seem to find many reviews on any, ideally I'd like to spend between £300 and maybe upto £500

Anyway any advice would really be appreciated :)

Thanks for reading

Personal choice seems to come into it a lot I like the anton v2 sprints, 1 because i used them at college and 2 i like the let by/ tightness test function

I use a Kane, never had any issues. I think it's down to what you feel happy using. When you do your CPA part depending where you go hey usually have different models. Gives you a chance to see which you like.

it depends how much you want to spend on servicing, kane 455 best value on that front at present

i find that testos and kane are very very easy to use. My kane 455 is excellent. My old testo was great too.

Kane 455 cant beat em, used an Anton before hand not bad but not a Kane, find a local supplies shop that's willing to do the leg work to send it to Kane and calibration will be pain free.
