Hello

I did did a small job & the old woman asked me why her boiler glue dripped

I couldn't tell her but said I'd ask.

Any thoughts? She lives in Northolt (not that has any bearing on it dripping)!

Cheers

I've no idea as I don't do boilers. When heating is in it drops. Is that the problem then? It needs levelling? Is it a big job to do? I know without seeing it's hard to say.

Dripping inside or out?

If it's inside it could suggest the inner flue seals are perished & will need replacing, or water could be running back into the boiler..., needs looking at!!

if its the flue dripping outside it'l be the angle of the flue is wrong and its not running back enough, it can be easy to sort but you'd need to be GSR but i've fitted boilers that have had a few little drips off the end of the flue even with the correct fall

It's dripping outside. I wasn't planning to tackle it myself!

I'm happy to be present & 'get in the way'

if its dripping outside flue angle need to be increased and new flue (depending on age)
