Four pipes going into tap

Hello again,

My kitchen sink tap has 4 pipes going into it. I need to buy a new tap but can't seem to find anything like it online. Do these even exist? Why would there be 4 pipes going in there? (I have a little water heater in the cupboard under the sink. 1 cold and hot come from the boiler, the other 2 from the main system which is a tank).

Any information on this would be very helpful!

What you have is a vented mixer tap, it is really important that only the correct type of tap is fitted.
Have a look at the make of the water heater and consult the manufacturers of that, they should be able to tell you what tap is suitable.
