probably one for Shaun , but can anybody help before I get my big hammer out .
050 Viessmann have a low voltage board and I need to reconnect a hive to it . ( was fitted to previous boiled )
Because its low voltage viessmann do a simple relay on a lead , 240 on one end and a low voltage plug that goes into the board on the other .
I have a perm live and neut to the L and N on the hive and the 240 side of the relay lead into No1 and No3 on the switch side of the hive , Sod easy , it wont fire the heating .
Is it me having a blond moment or can anybody help . Cheers in advance

What voltages are you getting either side eg switching side and does the boiler fire if you manuall do it eg link l to switch etc ?

Just had a look mate

One off the wires out of the box needs to go to Neutral

The other is your switch live from your hive

So move one of your leads to neutral on the nest should work

I ended up sussing it pal , it just needed me to leave it alone and come back with a fresh head . I cant get back until tomorrow because the customer is out and I need their sodding phone to turn it on ( This is why I hate these internet stats)
Going back in the morning and doing it this way , please let me know what you think.
Put in a link from Perm live to No 1. Live off the relay lead to No 3 and neutral off the lead into perm neutral.
Sound right ?

Yep spot on in short it's a coil / contractor

So needs a neutral, not live in and live out like normal

You can use the neutral at the hive just move the wire over I guess (if you've had it in 1 or 3 slot)
