8 year old fusion electric combi boiler intermittent problem. Sometimes the boiler does not react to the room thermostat calling for heat. Turning off the power and switching back on cures the problem and the boiler kicks in. Everything ok for several days before it happens again. Recent problem with faulty trip switch was put right by local engineer but he did not know why this problem exists. On phoning the manufacturer it was suggested that one of the two pcbs is to blame. However which one is faulty is not known. To replace both is very expensive.
Any ideas welcome.
