gas appliances in multi storey flats

Are you allowed to install gas appliances in flats higher than the 3red floor? I think I heard someone saying you can't. Only the 3red floor with FSD.

If you are not allowed above the 3red floor, what if it's a maissonette and the kitchen is on the 4the floor upstairs?

i know of council blocks at least 8 floors high that have gas so not a problem

as far as I know. it is totally acceptable as long as it meets regs with both gsr and manufacturers. all flats need an fsd on appliances, especially cookers which I have found that some ignore
