I have a customer with a perpayment meter combi up stairs, every things fine, but 4 times this week she has has no gas on the morning meter has triped out she gets the gas board out who reset meter and say it is the back pressure from the boiler causing the meter to trip out. New to me any one heard of this befor

you need to go there when it does it clip your gauge on the inlet and should see 20,fire the boiler if it drops dramatically the governor is failing, back pressure from the boiler?twaddle

gas pipe internall.

If I put my meter on surely there will be no pressuer as the meter has triped?, twaddle is what I thought, but you know customers are like the gas board know every think and are allways right

Who's the supplier? How olds the meter?

Sounds like it needs a new regulator or maybe even a new meter.

Sounds like she's on the fiddle! Probably keeps kicking it to hard

Had a gasco try to pull that stunt with me once over here. They gave up in the end and fitted a new regulator .

Had this very similar problem last week and it was the regulator.
