any tips on gas built in ovens got a few on my new patch cant seem to find much info on them - not realy fitted many built in - does the cupboard need vents or is the gap the oven top provides enough .

normally the cupboard has a vent/void at the back but consult MI for whats required. I hate them tbh, it can be a 2/3man job to fit them in and the gas supply position can be troublesome.

great, thanks for that geeeeez!!

got one to fit next week###########################not done one before!!

Swap two of the men for a 1200mm hose and a metal tool box to sit the oven on in front of the unit, while you plug the hose into the bayonet, obviously the bayonet positioning is critical, but fit as per MI and jobs easy peasy, ( that's two guys sacked, but on the plus side more cash for you)

the one i did a few weeks ago would have never been fitted by one person, two yes with a long hose. It was a two man lift to get it up the stairs holding it over the hand rails. Blumin delivery refued to help the customer carry it inside and insisted it was a kerb drop only. It weighed about 55kg.
